Carrier Animal Hospital

Boarding and Bathing

Carrier Animal Hospital provides both a dog ward and a cat ward for its boarders. Ambient temperature is maintained at 74°F. Four large grassy areas are used to allow dogs twice daily exercise and the ability to maintain their housetraining while being boarded. Large runs with blankets are used to board large breeds of dogs and large cages with towels are used for smaller breeds. Dogs that are on medications can have their medicine administered by the staff. Bathing can be given prior to release or by appointment. Dipping or therapeutic baths can be given to treat certain skin problems. Special medical diets can be fed during the boarding period. During the holidays, reservations should be made as early as possible.
