In Case of Emergency
817-571-2088
The concept of the Airport Freeway Animal Emergency Clinic was originated and supported by a group of veterinarians to fill a very important void in the area of emergency and critical care during non-clinical hours of their respective clinics. Carrier Animal Hospital is one of those supporting clinics.
Airport Freeway Animal Clinic is staffed with veterinarians and veterinarian technicians to handle emergency or critical nursing care of your pet when your regular veterinarian's clinic is closed. Our staff is highly trained in the most up-to-date life-support care available. If constant veterinary observation is required, your pet can be hospitalized at our clinic and referred to your regular veterinarian the next morning at 7:30 a.m. Surgical, medical management, and all necessary equipment (i.e. oxygen cages, etc) are available at our clinic to maintain your animal's health status until your regular clinic opens.
In addition to emergency care of your pet, the Airport Freeway Animal Emergency Clinic will provide your veterinarin with a complete medical and/or surgical report of the condition treated. This allows your veterinarian to know extactly what treatment has been performed and what medications have been administrered. This will allow optimal care after discharge fromteh emergency clicnic.
