Dr. Scott
Dr. Carlie Scott grew up in a suburb south of Detroit, Michigan. Ever since Dr. Carlie was a young girl, she had wanted to become a veterinarian, especially as she got older and developed a love for science and biology. She joined the field in 2009 at a local veterinary clinic where she would work throughout her college career as a kennel technician, veterinary assistant, and receptionist.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Madonna University in 2009 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2016. After graduation, Dr. Carlie returned to that local clinic to work as an associate veterinarian until 2023 when her and her husband relocated to Texas and she joined Carrier Animal Hospital.
Dr. Carlie has a passion for client education, preventative medicine, heartworm awareness, and exotic animal medicine-especially rabbits and guinea pigs!
Outside of work, Dr. Carlie enjoys traveling, cooking, and gardening with her husband and walking/hiking with her dogs.
